Wołomiński District is situated at the transit route leading to eastern markets of Russia and Lithuania. The district is much diversified. The towns of Marki, Zielona, Z±bki as well as Wołomin bordering with Warsaw are highly urbanized municipal centres with concentration of small and medium enterprises.
