CHARACTER OF REGION
The area features preserved post-manorial parks. They can be found in Krubki-Górki, Nowy Cygów and Poświętne. Some of them are connected with history events. For example in the park of Krubki-Górki Major Hubal-Dobrzański formed a squad that derived from the Polish Army. This place is listed in the register of history sites.
Besides the parks we have to mention the Roman Catholic parish cemetery of Poświętne, established ca. 1750. The cemetery features an array of tombs, such as graves of the Łebkowski Priests, the Świątochowski family, and Paweł Śliwa. There is also the resting place of Polish aviators, who were killed while defending the Homeland in September 1939. In the town of Nowe Ręczaje there are necropolises of other religions. There are remains of a Protestant cemetery of the former German setters and a Jewish cemetery.
