The township is located in the Warsaw Valley, and to be more specific - in the Wołomińska Plain, in the proximity of Radzymin. The area abounds in forests. In order to protect deciduous tree stand the "Dębina" forest reserve was established. The Cienka and Rządzą Rivers run through the region. It is also intersected by a main road and the Warsaw-Białystok railway line.
CHARACTER OF REGION
The township is of agricultural character; the average area of farm is 10 ha. There is a well-developed gas distribution net-work. Presently works continue on construction of a sewage system and a sewage treatment plant. Educational institutions include six elementary schools and two middle schools. While visiting Klembów it's worth stopping by at St. Clement`s Church, which was consecrated by bishop of Płock, Klemens Pierzchała during the reign of Casimir the Great. In Wola Rasztowska there is a neobaroque palace, which presently houses an elementary school and a kindergarten. One of more interesting facts from the region is that it was the birthplace and a short-term place of residence of Irena Wiśniewska, Polish singing star known as Irena Santor. The founder of the „Mazowsze" Song and Dance Ensemble - Tadeusz Sygietyński - held his first auditions here for his famous group.
